Re: Don't forget!

Sure ABBA, and The Cardigans, and Army of lovers -) and Kent, my all time favourite non UK band, or even Roxette... And Sugarcubes, and Björk, and Sigur Ros. Of coure the best Scandinavian pop band is Norwegian, being A-HA. Coldplay nicked everything of them. Even Denmark produced several lovely ban...

Re: Don't forget!

That's what I don't understand: the UK has the best pop music of the world, together with Sweden and Iceland, and still can't get a decent Eurovision act together! They even had to copy ABBA to win it once. Remember Bucks Fizz... I know it's all about fun and cheekiness, but the UK is reknown for it...

Re: Don't forget!

Belgium did quite well this year, normally we end up at the bottom end as well. 8) The UK was horrible, as ever! He made me think of Rick Astley! Spain was not too bad, just a bit boring and traditional, as most of the show. I missed the over the top camp performances by our Eastern Europe friends. ...

Re: suede back on jools holland...

Completely off topic now, but I heard in the news today that people in Spain demonstrated in 28 cities, because the judge who's investigating the Franco regime crimes, has to resign. It looks like Spain is struggling with his past. From a distance that seems quite odd, cause who can be against bring...

Kate Nash

Just read that Bernard Butler waisted his talent once again, this time on songstress Kate Nash. How many blondines is he going to produce?

I like CU and HM, but think about what they could have done if they had stayed together, and Brett wouldn't have put everything up his nose etc.

Re: brett has spoken about his next solo album

I'm more clueless and confused than ever!

Starting presales for your biggest indoor gig ever, not worth mentioning, and chatting away about your new solo album that should be released coinciding with the S gig?

What is going on???

Well, sounds promising anyway, not that I'm an Iggy Pop fan.

Re: the ashes of us!

Try to look at it from the positive side. Nobody has died yet. A few extra days off. No extra tan apparently as it was on the news as well that weather in Spain is particularly bad... Bad luck! We had a spotless, blue sky on the other hand, no cloud or plane to be seen... Took some extra pictures of...

Re: Suede article in Uncut May issue

Of course we are interested, silly! Got that magazine anyway, too lazy to scan it though, sorry! Indeed some very nice pictures, included Bernard doing something with two balloons. And he had such a serious image! Yeah, don't ever sell your Suede stuff. As said before, I want to be buried with it all!

Re: Suede article in Uncut May issue

I chopped some NME's and MM's to pieces as well, but regretted afterwards, and bought them again on record fairs and Ebay... I kept all monthly magazines though. Put them all in archive boxes, to take them out once in a year... It's quite a list. I think the most exotic Suede cover I have comes from...

Re: Suede, Me & a Late Friend.Listen to my story and share yours

Thank you for your personal and beautiful story What touches me the most, is that Suede hasn't lost his universal appeal. Last Wednesday I met people from Taiwan, Japan, Spain, Denmark, Sweden, France, Holland, Germany, even the UK! That's the power of music, and the power of this band, to stretch b...

Re: If Sci-fi Lullablies was reissued with a third disc....

A third disc won't do. We at least need 2 extra. Some gems like Sam were forgotten on Sci-Fi Lullabies. Also where to put the covers like Shipbuilding or Poor little rich girl, as well as some remixes or odd demo versions.

And I need Campfire Song on it!

Let's hope it's true, than the way is open for other festival appearances and gigs.

This is far too surreal. Somebody pinch me please.
