What a day! After being washed down for some of the previous artists, when suede came out it stayed dry and got very hot rather quickly!

they played: Introducing Band, We Are the Pigs, Trash, Filmstar, Nitrate, She, Stay Together, Sabotage, Drowners, Flashboy, Can't Get Enough, For the Strangers, So Young, Metal Mickey, Heroine, Wild Ones, New Gen, Beautiful Ones
Encores: Sat Night, Still Life

It was amazing!

it is a lovely one... but as we have seen with Sabotage, still developing. Richard's intro guitar is quite catching... and despite what someone said... the nanananahs at the end are good (like the end of beautiful ones, nobody complains about it).

Don't know, I really like it in some moments, but still find it rather unmelodic. It sounds like a b-side from Lazy or from Beautiful Ones.

which can be well because I love the b-sides from those singles :)

Nice stuff José!!! I loved it, brilliant and great crowd too!!! Suede smashed it - it's kinda a bit intimidating when Richard Ashcroft has just left the stage with 'Bittersweet Symphony' BUt starting this time with a crashing, chanting, pulsing 'Introducing The Band' followed up by WATP was a very good move!!! :D

Virtual festival rate Suede's as the best performance of the key Hop Farm players with a 10/10 rating!!!... Loads of singalongs as usual which is just what you want!!! :D

Sounds like you guys had a nice time. Very impressive set list. The new ones sound very promising. Sabotage is, well, really classic. I especially like Richard's soaring guitars, and Mat's elegant bass playing.

Hop Farm Festival owed Suede £46,000 and Peter Gabriel £100,000 at time of liquidation
The Hop Farm Festival – which went into administration last year, did so owing its 2012 headliners thousands of pounds.
Kent News recently found that the festival, which was run by Vince Power's Music Festivals PLC, went under owing Peter Gabriel £100,000 and Suede£46,000. Bruce Forsyth was also owed £9,000.
Other artists who were still unpaid at the time of the companies liquidation included Damien Rice, Billy Ocean, Primal Scream, Richard Ashcroft, Kool & The Gang and George Clinton.
In all, the festival collapsed owing £4.6 million, including £22,648 to local police and £163,000 to the festival site, Paddock Wood.
Despite this, Vince Power has said that the festival will be returning in 2013. A spokesman for Power confirmed to Kent News that an announcement regarding this year's event is 'imminent'. Power told the paper earlier this year:
It was always my intention to do the Hop Farm, I have the rights to do the Hop Farm and the Hop Farm will take place from July 5-7, 2013. At the moment, we have sold a small amount of early bird tickets and we are confirming acts. We hope to announce the bill very shortly.
