RAH Rocked!

Wow what a night! Was a bit worried as the hall took ages to fill up but fill up it did and it turned out to be an absolute stormer. The band really looked like they'd never been away - everyone was on top form, Brett's voice was excellent throughout. Must single out Richard though, without taking anything away from the many great previous performances I'd seen he's managed to rise to a whole new level.
Setlist was very similar to Manchester, relentless first 45 minutes or so with only Pantomime Horse and Everything Will Flow giving the standees at the front a bit of breather. Even The Two of Us had been rocked up slightly for the encores. For me it was reminiscent of my first Suede experience at Leeds on the Coming Up tour in 96.
Anyway a great night and good to see some familiar faces. Still a big question mark over what, if anything, happens next. Brett again made that remark about doing it again in another seven years, but personally I'm hoping that the standing ovation the band received prior to Wild Ones might convince them not to leave it so long...
Gareth.
