It being the Sun I'm not sure how much to believe this but good news if it's true.

Ah yeah, heard about this.

For those who are reluctant to visit the Sun's website (or have yet to click on the link below), Suede are doing London's O2 Arena on the 7th of December.

It wasn't the O2 show I was referring to - it was this bit:
SUEDE will be back with an arena show later in the year - and a new record deal.
The Britpop band re-formed for a storming set at London's Royal Albert Hall last month, saying it would be a one-off.

But BRETT ANDERSON and Co, who split in 2003, are giving it another go.

They will play London's O2 arena on December 7 and are deciding whether to sign a huge new deal with record label Warner.

A source said: "There's an offer on the table and now Suede have to decide whether to go for it."

This is good news. I caught last month's show and was impressed.

A lot of people will be excited to see what they come up with next.

Interesting news if they go for it!!!!

i'd tend to believe it actually (even if it is in the sun!!!)... Gordon Smart often seems to be pretty much on the money when it comes to his research going by past experience....!

And The Sun liked The Tears too - who'd have thunk it???!!!

I'm a little surprised - I was kinda thinking if they did go ahead and do some new material they'd set up their own label or something rather than be tied to the touring and PR grind of being on a major... Still if they do wanna go for the big time again (pun intended) that's absolutely fine with me.
