It was very hot and Brett was in a good mood!
Sorry I'm late but I have been away these last days.
I thought some songs were messed up a bit. Some things turned out great from the new album and some things didn't.
I like BR but this is the first Brett album which has songs you can easily swap for each other. One moment during the show they played something that I thought they had played earlier in the show… Even after listening many times I still can't remember the title of the songs. I could never forget Song for my father, but don't ask me how Possession goes...
Anyway, I really enjoyed it. Brett is one of those rare artists that never bore me.
Great to meet all the fans, especially those who made it from abroad. -) We missed you there José!!!
Enjoy the concert in London!

i know, db... but 3 nights out in a week is too much!
i missed it-you too, sa. I know what you mean, but that is because we don't know the songs of BR. and yes, the same with ba and me!

got it
I kind of experienced it the same way as Wim did (the gig and br).
And I think it is a pity he doesn't play anything of the debut now just because, as Jim put it:
we are tired of playing them. I understand he quit playing
song for my father as it obviously has to do with keeping his voice and of course I won't stand here saying: don't develop, you have to play the old songs, no matter what..., but what's wrong about playing
Love is dead or
to the winter? These are songs I adored him for, that made me listen to all of his music. It's a shame to see that it seems he doesn't want to be seen connected to any of them any longer.
Sure the gig was good, no discussion, he always does a great show, but his songs as well as he as an artist on stage changed and that night he didn't have that special touch I adored him before and I told everyone about that hasn't seen him yet. But he's still a great performer, so I'm still looking forward seeing him on Wednesday.
and we will miss you there, Wim, as much as we missed José in Leuven
