it's an english expression too lol!!!!... but well, it's all a bit sad isn't it???... we know of the dangers but this thing was unpredictable...

...nuclear power might have the potential to cause headline-worthy disasters, but really, when you compare the harm they do to, say, the slow-'n'-steady environmental problems caused by, say, coal, it's arguable that nuclear power is still superior to a lot of the other means we have available right now...

...no, it's not perfect, but just as we can't exactly give up oil because of some spills, we have to use what we have until we find better means of harvesting energy...

Totally agree Andy, there is never going to be an entirely safe answer but you have to do what is best in the cleanest, most efficient and economical way.... Generally speaking nuclear power fits that bill...

...exactly. Care to tell kids whose fathers died of black lung disease that we shouldn't use nuclear power, that we should keep sending people into the mines until they die a death that's worse than most smokers have to face?
