Suede's Brett Anderson announces new album and live dates Suede
Singer's fourth solo LP 'Black Rainbows' out in September
Suede frontman Brett Anderson is to release a new solo album, 'Black Rainbows', on September 26.
The singer, who has recently been playing live again with Suede and will do again this summer, recorded the album in January and will release a single from it, 'Brittle Heart', on August 15.
According to Anderson the album is "restless, noisy and dynamic. Electric guitars, bass, drums and vocals. There are no flute players, no strings, no gimmicks, just passion." His most recent solo album 'Slow Attack' was released in 2009.
The singer will spend the rest of the summer playing live with Suede at various festivals, including a headline slot at Latitude Festival.
He has also announced two solo live dates for October. He'll play Manchester's Club Academy on October 11 and London Koko on October 12.
Tickets go on sale on Friday (May 20) at 9am (BST). To check the availability of Brett Anderson tickets and get all the latest listings, go to NME.COM/TICKETS now, or call 0871 230 1094.

Thanks!!!... hmmmm, maybe Unstoppable will be the bonus track on the Brittle Heart single or a download only track with the album - or perhaps even a hidden track on the cd - I doubt it has been lost forever!!!... I'm looking forward to this!!!!...
Re: black rainbows released on EMI records on 26-09-11
it hasn't yet as I have some doubts... but it maybe true
Re: black rainbows released on EMI records on 26-09-11
Well no Brett has not released it on the official forum which is unusual but where would that tracklisting have appaeared from otherwise???.... If a publication has printed it and said it has been released why would you doubt - perhaps EMI rather than Brett himself have issued it... And I am sure Brett said it would be 10 tracks which adds up - we will see, but even without 'official' confirmation I see no reason to doubt it's validity - this is not just hearsay on some forum... Hopefully more details will come soon including what extra track will feature with Brittle Heart - just over 3 weeks til release!!!...

Re: black rainbows released on EMI records on 26-09-11
For the first time EVER with any Brett/Suede/Tears album sleeve I actually think I hate the design - 'Brett in moody pose with a vase of carnations plonked in front of him'! - beyond naff!!! Looks very new romantic 80's to me... But then the only thing that matters is the music and i'm predicting the album to have the worse sleeve design will ironically turn out to be the greatest thing he's done post Suede/Tears!...
