Some people seem to have a problem with the fact that (pretty) boys grow up and become (handsome) men <:

There are two schools:
* you count pairs of eyelets (and that's what DM uses), so 16-hole is almost knee-high
* you count the total number of eyelets, so it's half of above => 16-hole would be the classic just-above-ankle boot, which would be 8-hole in DM naming convention
