Just before the release of their hugely anticipated new album, Suede play a acoustic set at All Saints Church ahead of their full band show at New Slang. The eighth full length album from the indie-stalwarts, titled The Blue Hour follows on from 2016's Night Thoughts. We're super excited to have this iconic band play at All Saints Church for the first time.

“‘The Blue Hour’ is the time of day when the light is fading and night is closing in,” said the band in a statement. “The songs hint at a narrative but never quite reveal it and never quite explain. But as with any Suede album, it’s always about the songwriting. The band, the passion and the noise: ‘The Blue Hour’.”

“It took about a year to write. That’s the hard part for me. Once the songs are there, then you can enjoy yourself to a certain extent. It all has to be framed within the context of songwriting. I don’t think anyone wants to hear a Suede ambient album. This isn’t.”

Doors are 5:30pm, with a stage time of just after 6:00pm.
Under 14s must be accompanied by a ticket-holding adult 18+.

All Saints Church, 14-16 Market Place, Kingston, KT1 1JP (next to / opposite John Lewis)

There will be a bar at this show, please get your drinks from there and support the venue.
