the purpose of chewing gum

the site boys were going around today at school with the pressurized water machine removing it from the floor in the playground... i bet by monday break time is back on!

I like chewing gum....

Like everything else in the world, there's no purpose to it.


But like sex, booze, and Suede, it's fun while it lasts.

(But unlike those three, you have to brush your teeth afterwards, because otherwise there's this filmy, disgusting residue. I mean, you could argue that that's true for booze and certain kinds of sex too, but I say that those forms of residue are worth savoring and not brushing away.)

I never ESPECIALLY have to brush my teeth after chewing gum, no more than I normally do anyway!!!... And I don't get a filmy, disgusting teeth residue after booze or sex either... nice thought but... hmmmm... was it meant to be funny???... I thought generally speaking things that are funny have to make some kind of sense???!!!... ho-hum, maybe my experience of those three things is different to yours!!!!!... oh and I always savour my booze and sex and brush none of it away!!!...
