Well I certainly won't be walking it lol!!! Thanks for the info Thomas - someone suggested I think about using the National Rail overground service from Victoria to Brixton Railway station instead... Although I read on a website that the station has a reputation for being 'less than savoury'!!!... Apparently the National rail is right next to the tube station and then I looked on google earlier and It only looks a short walk up Brixton Road and a quick left turn to the venue... I hope anyway... Is Brixton really THAT scary???!!!!...

Google maps it looks like you walk up Brixton Road and turn left to get to the venue - is that correct sun???... I guess you answered that in the '2 minutes walk' part but I wanna be certain - there are no proper directions on the Brixton Academy website...

by train is going up Brixton Station road to Brixton Road, turn right and carry on for a little bit and then turn left and it is on your right.

the tube station is a bit further down Brixton Road... but it will be up and left then.

So you mean you turn right into Brixton road from brixton station road and then carry on up before turning left???... then it's on the right????.... I might have a look on google streetview to get to grips with the surrounding area - ooooh at least it should stuill be light which is good - that should help!!!!... :) Thanks sun!!!!! :D
