don't give a shit which door I have to use as long as I get there!!!! I'm only use to tiny venues though - sounds like a football match "use turnstile 5, stand x, row y, section b, seat 154"!!!!!!!!

This can't be true....

The Unite Union that represents British Airways cabin staff has announced a four day strike that will begin on 20th March until 27 March. The union said it would not strike over the Easter period which is probably owing to public opinion being against the strike. It has warned that there will be further strike action if a resolution can not be found.

Ah... it's not (completely) true. Update by BA:

Unite, the trade union that represents the majority of British Airways (BA) cabin crew, has announced its intention to take strike action from 20 to 22 March and 27 to 30 March 2010.

So no strike on 23-24-25-26 March.

Anyone flying BA for the Manchester/London shows on 20-21 March?

I'm not going to wait and see whether they're on strike, so my plans have changed:

I Cancelled my flight with British Airways and booked traintickets on Eurostar.

Arrival: 24 Mar around noon at St Pancras
Departure: 25 Mar around 11 from St Pancras
Staying at: 54 Boutique, Queen's Gate (500 m from RAH).

The government is try to get the union back into talks....

Gordon Brown says the action is "unjustified and deplorable"!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Unite says it's down to BA to make the next move so stalemate right now!!!! :(

Good idea Jan - train instead!!! (I hate flying anyway!!!)...

It is in fact faster by train and nearly as 'cheap'. Total travel time will be approx 4 hours, but it saves me the trip to Amsterdam Airport ( 2 hrs), 1 hr waiting for boarding, and the Gatwick-Victoria train - which is even more than 4 hrs.
