Deluxe edition

Post by Marquis »

Hi everyone,
you know what would definately be awesome...?
To have some new edition of the albums of Suede, like this Deluxe CD collection that many bands have now
not simply a new best of

something great like this:
http://www.amazon.com/Disintegration-De ... 417&sr=8-5

that would be great, with extra tracks, demos, live, "home recordings" and stuff

I want this for my Christmas............................

...and only pray they don't fizzle out the way the planned XTC releases did.

Well we all know the plan to re-release all the albums with bonus material and remastered went tits up soon after it was announced back in 2001....  :( It's always quite interesting to hear I guess but all this stuff about demo's and home recordings doesn't really bother me that much - I have various different Suede demo's but virtually never listen to them - what's the point??? Demo's aren't really entertainment...

It really depends on the artist; some demos are as exciting as the official releases, sometimes moreso (how about "Spunk"? And I know there aren't many Dylan fans in these parts, but "The Witmark Demos" was one release I've been waiting for for literally years). But I'll agree with you that, for the most part, home demos aren't all that great.
