The Bahrain Grand Prix, which had been due to stage the opening round of the Formula 1 season on March 13, has been cancelled by organisers following the onset of civil unrest in the country.
yeah someone told me that tonight!!! they shouldn't cancel it altogether they should just re-schedule to a later part of the season - move everything forward and fit it in somewhere else...
