ok, I didn't know they were reffered to as 'elipses'!!!... I use them all the time for a pause or to indicate that my words are likely to be a continuation rather than the end of the subject but, hmmm - I thought is was just 'dots' lol!!!... Damn and I thought I was good at english yet I didn't even know what the word elipses means!!!...

I left out an "l." It's actually spelled "ellipses." My fault.

I also use them for pauses or to indicate trailing off or in, but they can also be used to indicate words that have been omitted (most often in a quote).
