I heard through the grapevine at Brixton that Alex was a bit pissed of he wasn't really asked to join in the reunion. It eventually was decided that Suede needed Neil's pretty face instead of Alex's musicianship.

to be honest I just soooo wanted Richard to be part of the reunion (Brett, Simon and Mat were out of question)

Nice - but big spoilers for those of who've got them on preorder. (My Suede has shipped from HMV - if they're true to form I should have it on Saturday).

Brett's alternative track listings are interesting - can't say I agree with taking Chemistry off Coming up, or WTRF off ANM.

I think bringing Neil back was the right thing to do - he'd been in the band a lot longer than Alex and he only left for health reasons. Nothing against Alex though.

Nice!!!... And yeah I think it was a bit mean of them not to go with Alex - he is a better musician although Neil is decent and has improved further over time... I guess they weren't so keen on carrying on where they left off with anm and decided that if it was possible for neil to rejoin then he should - baring in mind he was a big part of their most successful era - CU and HM....
