it sounds so down to earth!

i watched some early interviews of brett and he did seem like a bit of a twat to me!!! - as he says in this interview!!! Brett has definitely changed a lot and i think it's for the better - still an 'animal', still 'so young', but now with a head on his shoulders that is sensible and not stuck up his arse - no longer trying to piss people off just for the sake of it!!! to be fair although he was often drug addled through these times, i still think most of his interviews from coming up onwards were pretty good - i think it's the interviews from the first few years where he was too cocky and sure of himself - maybe after bernard leaving it knocked a bit of that out of him!!!! and of course stopping the drugs in more recent years would've helped!!! sometimes humility can be a good thing!!!! maybe suede being a cool-as-fuck rock n roll band it was a necessary thing at the time - to add an air of uncertainty and mystery about the band - but I like the honest, down to earth, straight talking brett of today!!!

Seems hard to think, but remember I used to really dislike him before I actually knew anything about Suede's music all those years ago!!! Based purely on his look and demeanour - I love the fact that several things in life I now adore I once bizarrely hated!!!
