I learned that they get paid big bucks so they'll say whatever the network execs want them to say...


...but fuck, I wouldn't ask for a seven figure salary...I'd do that for an average year's salary ($30,000-odd). I mean, it's a lot less painful than most jobs, and you get to be a minor celebrity.



Also, I haven't watched the news regularly since I was 4 and my grandmother would babysit me and watch it, but assuming that nothing's changed, anchormen and weathermen and their kin are sort of a bunch of assholes.
