Step two: Go to Google translator and it translated into another language (except English) you want.

Step three: Translate to another language.

Step four: re-translation into English.

Step Five: Post a message here.

why me???!!!! I'm sure Sunshine's emoticon posts would be FAR more interesting translated!!!! And what about the other guys???!!!...

... I "message" in brackets because I read the post "Post", but then I translated it, came out of it "Mark "!!!!!!!!!!

ok... I must be thick because i'm not getting this!!!... you translated the word 'message' into a different language and it came out as 'mark'???!!!

Yes, that's the point. It's all about what gets lost in translation.


For example, take the lyrics to a Suede song, and plug them into GoogleTranslate. Translate them into German. Then translate the German translation into French. Then translate that translation back into English. Everything will be all funked up.

well I tired the translation for you about the sunshine/raincloud and george banks - I translated into spanish and then into thai before back into english and it's actually pretty similar!!!:

"So how do you like the sun / clouds? Just as George Banks love his children?"

LOL...maybe it was too simple a sentence....
