Thread to hate on music DVD's

...I know I'm in the minority here, but I just want to say that I can't really be arsed to find a DVD player and wade through all the menus just to see visual content to go with songs, especially as I'm not a visual guy...I've only seen a few music videos that really enhanced the songs, and even those were very, very slight improvements.

I like Live Aid/Live 8 on dvd and the Suede dvd's... But tbh I don't watch music dvd's very often.... Oh the Jools Holland 'Cool Britannia' dvd's are pretty good too...

Yeah sorry mate, queen, bowie, u2 were all great and it's a fucking amazing dvd to watch - even the ol' phil collins!!! Even better to watch and sing along to while drunk!!!! You have no class or sentimentality!!!...

...frankly, I think DVD's tend to target the celebrity aspect of music more than is comfortable for me...
