I mean, just the thought that emoticons are always there, 24/7, with that 'laughter' going constantly, or the red face flashing, or the tears falling down or their little eyes rolling... I mean it's like slave labour!!!... They never get a break, they have to sit on these posts in these threads day after day, week after week, month after month, year after year!!!!... Just repeating the same thing over and over - without a break!!!!... Surely that is wrong??!!!!... I mean the poor things they just get forgotten about when you leave a page or a website - and yet even for instance when you close this site on your pc, they are still there, working away - just because you can't see them anymore is not the point!!!! They must still be doing their thing!!!!.... They can't even stop for a minute just in case some asshole like you or me comes along to load up another page which they've been posted on - and then they have to do their performance all over again - for our amusement - it's like a circus!!!!.... They must have certain rights - is there a union that represents emoticons???!!!!... Knowing that they are here and all over the internet working non stop 24/7 with no pay - how can you sleep at night???!!!!...

I have no sympathy for emoticons, just I have no sympathy for poor people who vote Republican.

Emoticons deserve to be oppressed. They're annoying, hammy little things that clutter up discussions with their arrogant diva-like ways. They also deserve to be forgotten once one leaves a page. Nay, they deserve to be ignored while one is still on the page in question.

I never thought about this before, but now that you pointed out, I might make a point of posting as many emoticons as I can, just to annoy the wretches.
