My guess: Richard was just nervous.

Welcome Simon!
Thanks for the photos... sent you some from Saturday night!
Take some pills... I had to take a few on Sunday! My vocal chords had lost the ability to recover quickly!
See you Wednesday!

8 years ago we would have said: "he looked a bit fat..." But Richard looks GREAT these days and from what I hear his performance is excellent.
Always dangerous to say, but: Richard rules !!!! Makes me forget Mr. B. easily.

Hi, I'm new here but I am an old-time Suede fan... I used to be a member of the fanclub and all of that... Just wanted to say thanks for the gorgeous pictures of the 100 Club gig which I sadly missed out on, but I went last night to the RHA and was blown away!

I can't believe a week has gone by! Thinking about it, it was the perfect way to warm up for the RAH... frist a really intimate and small venue like 100 Club... then the bigger Ritz and finally the amazing RAH.
I am 100% sure that not only us fans had a fantastic time, but also the band and all the people involved in organising this.
Hopefully, 7 years will go fast!

I'm still hoping he said it wrong twice and meant weeks not years...
