Presenter Jonathan Ross made it clear he would not be trying to match Ricky Gervais for cheek, but began with a cheerful gag on the subject of the foregone conclusion in everyone's mind ("How this evening works is we read out the winner in each category, and then the relevant person from The King's Speech comes up and receives the award.")
anyway, english people have got a better sense of humour (coming from an English man)
BAFTAs
Re: BAFTAs
An ok joke - I really like Rossy!!!
sometimes his jokes at these ceremonies REALLY hit the mark, sometimes they fall a little flat though!!!! They should get Stephen Fry back as the BAFTA host - the master linguist!!!!
Or how about Alan Carr lol, can you imagine???... he'd only need to open his mouth and people would be laughing!!! - no matter what he said!!!!
omg or how about Louis Spence!!!!
Too annoying maybe!!!!
